Lotis Blue Consulting strives to help every employee build deeper connections, meaning, and mental and emotional well-being at work as part of our DE&I approach. We put DE&I into action by emphasizing inclusion among our firm’s values and through actions such as organizing employee day-of-service events around important dates like Martin Luther King Junior Day and Juneteenth.
Our DE&I Committee maintains the firm’s DE&I strategy and related initiatives, plans firm-wide learning opportunities including lunch-and-learns, listening sessions, workshops, and trainings, and serves as a resource to the entire firm on DE&I-related matters.
The Kaleidoscope Network, Lotis Blue’s Women’s Leadership Group, is a network of women and allies whose mission is to provide a safe and supportive community that empowers its members to grow personally and professionally and advocate for the recruitment, engagement, and success of diverse talent.
We host regular events to discuss topics related to professional growth, equity, networking, leadership, bias awareness, and more. Our Guest Speaker Series offers perspectives from thought leaders, authors, activists, and executives geared toward helping women and their allies with the challenges they face in and out of the workplace. The Kaleidoscope Network is open to everyone at Lotis Blue, regardless of gender or gender identity.
Everyone at Lotis Blue Consulting strives to make the firm a good corporate citizen. As part of this mission, we contribute to the community at both the macro and micro levels. Each year, our pro bono work allows us to help non-profit organizations run more efficiently and better serve their own clients equating to at least $2 million in value.
Throughout the year, we also conduct days of service so that our employees can volunteer in the communities we live and work in. We've packed meals at the Greater Chicago Food Depository, volunteered at the Chicago Lights community garden, conducted coat drives, filled backpacks during back-to-school time to benefit students in need, and more.
Lotis Blue Consulting is structured as a managed LLC at which common units (“stock”) are granted to all employees in order to give them a sense of ownership. Upon joining Lotis Blue, you're granted an initial tranche of units that vest on a schedule determined by executive leadership. Executive leadership may also grant additional common units at various times. You'll learn more about this benefit during the hiring and onboarding process.
